Lucy is originally from Wells, currently living in Portugal. While Art has not been her primary career, she she has been dedicated to her art for the last 4 years. She is a Visiting Artists. Lucy is a self-taught artist. Although most of her work has been commissioned pieces, she enjoys a free format and is still finding her own "voice" in Art. She wanted to participate in the Auction to help refugees in Ukraine. Her participating piece is an original Oil and Acrylic paint.
Aleksandra is a young artist from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Aleksandra describes her painting as abstract realism and surrealism. "In my paintings I explore such themes as freedom, beauty of the surrounding world, self-realization, and symbolism. I believe that my mission as an artist is to show the beauty and importance of our world through my art. My paintings are my voice and now it is directed in support of my country. She wanted to participate in the Auction to help refugees in Ukraine. Her participating pieces are original watercolor paintings and a digital art available as prints.
Nika is a professional Photographer from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Nika's passion is Ballet Photography. When the war in Ukraine started and people left her city of Kyiv, she decided to stay. By April, she had designed and tailored 14 pieces of Blue and Yellow color dresses for a Collection in honor of the courage of her country. Even though most people have left her city, she managed to locate 14 Ballerinas, gymnasts and acrobats to participate in what she called "Ukrainian Ballet during War" Collection. A series of beautiful photographs in Blue and Yellow colors. They spent countless hours shooting in a studio but soon after a shooting an attacked happened one block from the studio and it became too dangerous to continue. Nonetheless the project was successful and Nika has donated three of her pieces for the Stand with Ukraine auction. Her work is offered as prints in our Stand with Ukraine Print Market. Her prints will donate 100% of proceeds to the organizations we are working with helping disabled Ukrainians.
Sian is a full time artist in South Wales, England. She is a Visiting Artists. After gaining a degree in English at Swansea University, Sian returned to a childhood love of art, pursuing this alongside bringing up her young family. Painting soon became a passion, and has now become a full time occupation. She regularly exhibits at Galleries in Wales and Cornwall, and has had work selected for the Royal Cambrian Academy. She is participating with one original painting for the Auction.
Sasha is a young illustrator from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Sasha is an amazing illustrator who primarily offers her work as NFTs. With the situation in Ukraine, Sasha felt like taking some time off painting but has recently found the strength to paint. She wanted to participate in the auction with illustrations of powerful women ready to face what they encountering in this crisis in her own country. Her illustrations are offered as prints in our Stand with Ukraine Print Market.
Sasha is a creative illustrator from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Ilona is an artist, illustrator, lives and works in in Kyiv, Ukraine, She has always been inspired by beauty, nature, bright colors, beautiful people, and fashion. "My collection of postcards "Strong, Free, Independent" was created during war in Ukraine. My art is about love for the native state, I use state symbols, popularize and show how talented my country is and how we Ukrainians love and are proud of our country. Her illustrations are offered as prints in our Stand with Ukraine Print Market.
Svetlana is a Ukrainian artist. She is a Visiting Artists. She lives in the city of Dnipro in Ukraine. She began her career in painting in the early 2000s. She likes using different techniques, such as pastel, oil and her drawings are an inspiration from the beauty of the Ukrainian countryside and travel around the world. Her artwork are originals and they will be available at any time and during the Stand with Ukraine Market and at the Auction.
Natalie is originally from Ukraine but with the attack from Russia she had to move Czech Republic. She is a Visiting Artists. Natalie is a financial analyst by profession, but painting was her childhood dream. In her words "Exactly one year ago I took brushes and canvas and decided to make my dream come true. I paint with acrylics and oils". When she had to evacuate instead of clothing and precious memories, she picked her brushes and paints so she can continue her painting. She is hoping to be able to make a living of her art. She didn't receive special education in art but has found art as a way of expressing her appreciation for beauty around her. Her artwork is offered as prints and originals and they will be available at any time and during the Stand with Ukraine Market and at the Auction.
Natalie is originally from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Natalia's works is primarily oil painting. She paints pictures, does decorative painting of surfaces (walls, glasses, tables) and graphic works to order. She teaches drawing and painting to children and adults. She has also done a series of art merchandise. Natalia is a very versatile artists. Her artwork is offered as originals and they will be available at any time and during the Stand with Ukraine Market and at the Auction.
Ula is an illustrator/artist, based in London, UK but originally from Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Ula creates artworks in different styles, but her true passion is art nouveau and modern fashion illustration. She specializes in commercial drawing creating book and music album covers, illustrations for marketing materials and websites, stickers and logos, posters and illustrations for T-shirts. She is participating in our Auction with several illustrations honoring Ukraine's traditional garments. Her artwork is offered as prints and they will be available at any time and during the Stand with Ukraine Market and at the Auction.
Karina is a painter and illustrator from Kyiv, Ukraine. She is a Visiting Artists. Karina is project manager in Kyiv. Her illustrations are beautiful and very uplifting even when they are full of messages. After a month into the war she decided to express her surroundings and concerns through her art with a 12 day illustration challenge where she would create the pieces that would represent specific events around her. Her artworks are offered as prints and they will be available at any time and during the Stand with Ukraine Market and at the Auction.
