Anna Briukhovetska is originally from Donetsk, Ukraine but lives in Odessa. She is a contemporary artist and her art is full of meaning and emotions. The main theme of her Artwork is modern women - strong and confident, tender and vulnerable, modest or bold, but not afraid to be herself.
She uses her own experiences, feelings and observations as her inspiration and that follows to her canvas. She transforms her feelings into color and her emotions into contrasts. Anna favors the use of bright and opposing colors in her compositions.
With the beginning of the war, the heroines of her paintings became a reflection of her feelings and her particular situation as a Ukrainian women. Pain and fear, the bitterness of loss and separation are expressed in her art, and she does not hide the despair and tears, but at the same time her heroines, as she calls them, radiate faith and strength!.
Anna is a participant of the local and international exhibitions, prize-winner of international competitions. Her works are in private collections in Germany, Switzerland, USA, Norway, Serbia, France, Italy, China, Turkey, Liechtenstein, Singapore, Austria, Canada and Ukraine.
Since the conflict in Ukraine started, she has dedicated a portion of her earnings to the Ukrainian Army. She became a Permanent Artist after participating in our Stand with Ukraine Project with several originals and limited edition prints.
Her art is divided in Collections mostly of women of bold and bright colors. Her Artwork is available in Originals, some limited Prints Editions and merchandise.
This is the latest Collection at the peak of the destruction of ukraine with no electricity and basic ammenities. Anna is experimenting with different techniques to make them more real and powerful. These series is creted on Acrylic and Charcoal on Canvas.
This Collection is painted while the lives of Ukrainians are in danger constantly. Most areas of the country are under Air Raid Alerts, No electricity or water. This situation makes it difficult to stay Creative and Positive.
